	FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 16, 1998 CityTel releases new range of numbers for Prince Rupert Prince Rupert - October 16, 1998 - Prince Rupert - CityTel has applied and been successful in obtaining a new exchange and number range for Prince Rupert. The number range "622" joins "624" and "627" as the primary exchanges for this area. "We've had to apply for new numbers due to a shortage of numbers in our 624 and 627 ranges," said Bruce Kerr, General Manager, CityTel. "The process takes quite a long time and we're pleased to have been able to obtain the series we applied for. With the increase in cellular, paging and second phone lines we were in danger of running out of phone numbers." CityTel will only be releasing certain blocks of the number range initially due to the heavy administrative workload in setting up the exchange. "We'll open up the "2000" range of numbers beginning on Monday, October 19th which means that 622-2000 to 622-2999 will be available for customer use," he said.
