Dodge Cove, a very small community of about 80 souls, is part of Digby Island, British Columbia, Canada. It is within "bridge building" distance of the small city of Prince Rupert, also known as the "city of rainbows". Alaska is "just up the road". Our climate is wonderfully mild and from our windows we see the waters of the Pacific and the snowcapped Rocky Mountains. Wildlife abounds in the area and when the herring runs arrive, so do the bald eagles in great numbers. Wolves, beaver and wild mink sometimes complicate our lives.
